Taisei and Kaneka Establish the Joint Venture Company “G.G. Energy”

Kaneka Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuhiko Fujii; hereinafter “Kaneka”) and Taisei Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshiro Aikawa; hereinafter “Taisei”) have established "G.G. Energy Corporation*1" for the purpose of a joint business to sell "Green Multi Solar". Green Multi Solar is an is a photovoltaic power generation system integrated with external walls and windows on building, co-developed by the two companies in 2019. G.G. Energy Corporation will start full-scale operations in April this year.

Through this joint venture, the two companies aim to expand sales channels for Green Multi Solar and conduct its diffusion and promotion. The two companies will proactively propose this product to environmentally-conscious companies and government facilities as an energy-creating technology for new and renovated buildings.

Both companies will continue to accelerate the development and diffusion of attractive renewable energy products that will be appreciated by customers and contribute to the realization of a carbon neutral society.
