When this liquid polymer reacts to moisture in the air in the presence of a curing catalyst, it becomes elastic.

(liquid polymer for elastic adhesives)
Designed for formulating adhesives, Kaneka Silyl makes elastomeric adhesives strongly resistant to temperature variation and external forces, such as impact and vibration.
- Kaneka Hyperite™ (modified PET resin)
While crystallization of PET was once difficult, Hyperite has made possible the modification and practical application of PET as an engineering plastic.
- Kane Ace™ PA (processing aid resin for PVC)
Rigid PVC, which is usually hard to process, becomes highly processable when blended with a small amount of this resin, thereby improving productivity and appearance. Kane Ace PA is used for the processing and molding of semi-rigid and flexible resins.
- Kaneka Gemlac™ (acrylic silicon polymer)
Used mainly as the base polymer of paints and coating materials, Kaneka Gemlac, with its excellent long-term durability, surface hardness and retention of gloss, is widely used in automobiles and decorating materials for the exteriors of buildings.

Kanevilack comes in two types: PVC and acrylic. Kaneka was the first company in the world to develop and produce a PVC solution-type resin using a solution polymerization method.
