Kaneka Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuhiko Fujii) will revise the sales price of vinyl chloride resin sold to Japanese clients. For deliveries from May 21, we will implement an additional price increase of at least 30 JPY/ kilogram, on top of the price revision effective April 1 (*1). This will be applied to not only general-purpose vinyl chloride resin but also all types of specialized vinyl chloride resin, including vinyl chloride paste resin. May 13, 2026
We have already implemented a price increase of at least 35 JPY/kilogram for shipments delivered on or after April 1, 2026. However, due to the impact of the Middle East conflict, raw material costs, energy costs, and other expenses continue to rise further.
Under these circumstances, in order to continue operations and ensure a stable supply going forward, we have determined that it is unavoidable to implement an additional price revision.
