Price Revision of Liquid Sodium Hydroxide

- Increasing the Price by at least 30 JPY/kilogram for Shipments from July 1 ‐

Kaneka Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuhiko Fujii) will revise the sales price of liquid sodium hydroxide sold to customers in Japan. For shipments from July 1, 2026, the current price will be raised by at least 30 JPY per kilogram (dry basis).　

Due to the impact of the Middle East conflict, energy costs have risen significantly. In addition, distribution costs and manufacturing equipment maintenance costs continue to increase.

Despite our continued efforts to reduce costs, we have reached the limit of what we can do ourselves. Therefore, in order to continue operations and ensure a stable supply going forward, we have determined that it is unavoidable to implement a price revision.
