Kaneka Appointed as "Official Partner" of Tokyo National Museum

KANEKA CORPORATION
August 4, 2026

Kaneka Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuhiko Fujii) has been appointed as an Official Partner of Tokyo National Museum (Director: Makoto Fujiwara), operated by the National Institutes for Cultural Heritage, in August 2026.

To date, through the donation of "KANEKA OLED" lighting (hereinafter “KANEKA OLED”), we have contributed to the preservation of cultural assets and the improvement of the exhibition environment at Tokyo National Museum. KANEKA OLED provides soft, surface-emitting light that is less likely to cast shadows and offers excellent visibility, while emitting no ultraviolet rays and generating minimal heat. It has been highly regarded as a lighting solution that helps the museum meet the challenge of balancing the viewing experience with the preservation of artworks.

With this appointment as an Official Partner, we will further strengthen our collaboration relating to the preservation and exhibition of cultural assets and deepen our knowledge and technologies regarding lighting environments suitable for art galleries and museums. Furthermore, beyond the lighting environment, we will leverage our environmentally friendly materials and other unique technologies to provide comprehensive and advanced solutions to the various challenges that museums face.

Based on our mission of KANEKA thinks “Wellness First”, Kaneka provides value globally as a solution provider. Continuing to offer products worldwide that help solve challenges in the areas of "environment and energy," "food," and "wellness," we aim to create, through our collaboration with Tokyo National Museum, new solutions that contribute to solving social issues, not limited to the evolution of exhibition lighting.
